Founder Glenn Rice began the company on the philosophy that I.T. software and hardware should be seamless, simple and reliable, so much so that the user forgets it’s there until they need it, like a wristwatch or refrigerator. Having worked for over fifteen years as a Systems & Network Administrator and an IT Engineer at various places around Melbourne, Cairns and Papua New Guinea, Glenn became quite familiar with IT at a corporate level. Seeing a need for adapting enterprise-level information systems for smaller businesses, he used his experience and formed BackupBrain, with the continuing aim of providing big business technology solutions at small business prices.
